These additional booklets contain activities based on the term 3 phonics based on the ATP's. These activities will allow the grade 2 learners to build up and break down simple words beginning with a single consonant into onset and rime. They will group common words into word families and recognise common endings in words ‘ing’ and ‘ed’. They will recognise common consonant digraphs (e.g. sh, ch, th) at the beginning and end of words.
